Burgers are a 4th of July cookout classic, but try making these garlic cheeseburgers this year. You will not be disappointed with the added flavor and it just might become a recipe tradition.

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 minced cloves garlic
  • ½ cup minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 5 slices cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 sliced tomato
  • 5 buns

Combine the beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, and salt and pepper in a large bowl. Mix well and refrigerate for 2 hours. Form burgers into ½ inch thick patties and lightly oil grill grates. Grill the burgers over high heat for 3 minutes on each side. Assemble burgers on buns with tomato slice, lettuce, and cheese.
