  • 1 dough for doughnuts, uncooked
  • 2 c. of jelly, or any jam
  • 2 quarts of vegetable oil
  • 1 c. of sugar

Directions

With a floured cookie cutter, cut dough into rounds. Place jelly in the center of the rounds, top with remaining rounds. Heat oil in deep fryer, fry one layer of cakes at a time. Remove from oil, drain and toss with sugar.
