German Sauerkraut and Squash
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 C. yellow/orange squash, peeled
- 1 1/2 16-oz. beg sauerkraut, drained
- 1/4 C. apple cider or apple juice
- 1/2 tsp. caraway seeds
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
In shallow 3-quart microwave-safe casserole dish, stir peeled squash, sauerkraut, cider, caraway seeds and pepper. In microwave oven cover and cook mixture on high for 5 minutes, stirring once halfway through cooking.
