Enjoy this ghostly pizza with its melted cheese and creamy tomato sauce just in time for that Halloween party!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound pizza dough, room temperature
  • 1 can pizza sauce
  • 8 slices of thick mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon capers

Directions

Preheat oven to 475ºF. Brush the bottom of your baking sheet with olive oil, then stretch the pizza dough evenly over the sheet, pressing down.

Next, evenly spread sauce over the dough and let it bake for about 15 minutes, or until the bottom of the dough is golden brown. Take out of the oven and let rest.

While the crust is cooking, cut out ghosts in the mozzarella cheese using a ghost-shaped cookie cutter. Place the ghost-shaped cheese slices onto your pizza and place it back in the oven until the cheese melts, or about 5 minutes.

For a finishing touch, place two capers on each ghost, for eyes, and let cool. Enjoy!
