Not every Halloween treat has to be entirely made of sugar! Serve up these adorable candy-coated pears and decorate them in any ghostly way you want.

  • 10 Bosc pears
  • 2 (14 oz.) packages caramels
  • ¼ C. water
  • 3-4 C. white chocolate candy coating
  • ½ C. semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ C. orange candy coating
  • Popsicle sticks

Insert popsicle sticks into pears and place onto a baking sheet lined with wax paper. In a large bowl, melt caramels with water either in a microwave according to package directions or over a saucepan of boiling water. Once melted, coat pears evenly, turning to allow excess caramel to drip off. Place on wax paper to harden. In another bowl, melt white chocolate candy coating and repeat dipping process with pears, returning to wax paper to set up completely. With melted chocolate chips and orange candy coating, decorate spooky faces onto your pears!
