Ingredients

  • 1 ½ sticks butter
  • 3 C. semisweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 ½ C. brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 C. flour
  • ½ C. heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ C. powdered sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a saucepan, heat and combine butter, 1 ½ cup of chocolate chips, brown sugar, and water. Stir until evenly melted and smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour until well combined and pour batter into cupcake liners. Bake for 20 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Prepare icing by melting remaining chocolate chips over a saucepan of boiling water. Stir in cream and powdered sugar until combined and drizzle over cupcakes. Garnish with a candy ghost!
