  • For the Rice
  • 2 C. chicken stock
  • 1 C. white rice
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 2 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • For the Chicken
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. cayenne
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
  • 2 sprigs fresh basil

Directions

Combine the rice ingredients in a crock pot. In a large bowl, coat the chicken with the other chicken ingredients. Place the meat on top of the rice. Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
