Gingerbread French Toast
Serving Size / Yield
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 loaf of gingerbread
- small amount of butter for skillet
Mix eggs, condensed milk, and vanilla in a bowl big enough for dipping the bread.
Cut the gingerbread into about one inch thick. Heat a small amount of butter in a skillet. Dip each slice of bread in the mix, flipping to fully coat.
Place the slices into the skillet and fry for a few minutes. When the first side is golden brown, flip it over and fry the other side. Top with powdered sugar or maple syrup for a sweet treat.
