  • 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 8 Tbs. butter, salted
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 C. all-purpose flour
  • Chocolate Glaze:
  • 1/4 C. Hershey's unsweetened cocoa
  • 3 Tbs. water
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 C. powdered sugar

Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. In a small saucepan over low heat, stir chocolate and butter until melted. Grease 8-inch square pan. Pour mixture in bowl. Stir in sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour. Stir well. Pour into pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on rack before cutting.

For glaze, mix cocoa, water and butter in a saucepan over low heat until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Cut brownies and dip each brownie in chocolate glaze. Let brownies sit until glaze is firm. Garnish with peanuts if desired.
