Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. light corn syrup
  • 1/2 C. white sugar
  • 1/4 C. water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/4 C. molasses
  • 2 Tbs. butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 C. almonds

Directions

In a large sauce pan, boil syrup, sugar and water. Add in salt, ginger and molasses. Remove from heat and quickly stir in butter and baking soda. Sprinkle almonds on non-stick baking sheet before pouring mixture over. Let it cool for at least 4 hours before breaking into pieces.
