  • I have made these in big batches and made the patties and froze the leftovers but I replaced the goat cheese with Feta cheese. My family loves them, even one family member who would never eat turkey burgers before. When she comes to my house she asks me to make them. Thanks for the recipe its great.

  • a handful (use your discretion on that measurement!) of shredded carrot would really rock this combo too, and burgers will definitely freeze well.

  • thanks for letting me know that I can freeze them before cooking, I also know about the cheese but I like feta so I think they should taste good with that also. I can't wait to try them.

  • There is a difference between goat cheese and feta cheese. Goat cheese tends to have a stronger flavor. I have often made burger patties an frozen them to use when I need them.

  • These sound great, especially since I love feta cheese. I have 2 questions I hope someone can answer. Can these be fried with pam instead of broiling, and also after the patties are put together, can you freeze them before cooking to save for later date ? Thanks for any help you can give me.
