  • 1 lb. jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/3 C. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 cage-free eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 C. panko bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil

Combine flour, salt and ground pepper in a medium bowl. Place beaten eggs and bread crumbs in their own separate bowls. In order, coat shrimp in flour, eggs and breadcrumbs. Make sure shrimp is completely coated.

Pour 2-inches of oil in a large pot. Warm oil to 350 degrees F. In small batches, cook shrimp for 2 minutes or until golden brown. Set shrimp aside on paper towel to drain. Serve warm.
