Graham Streusel Cake
Ingredients
- 2 C. graham cracker crumbs
- 3/4 C. chopped nuts
- 3/4 C. brown sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 3/4 C. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 pkg. Betty Crocker cake mix (any kind)
- 1 C. water
- 1/4 C. vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- Vanilla Glaze:
- 1 C. powdered sugar
- 1-2 Tbs. water
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease and flour 13x9 pan. Mix crumbs, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and butter; reserve. Blend cake mix, water, oil and eggs on low speed until moistened, about 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes. Pour 1/2 of the batter (about 2 1/3 C.) into pan; sprinkle with 1/2 of the reserved crumb mixture. Spread remaining batter evenly over crumb mixture; sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake until cake tests clean, 45-60 minutes; cool. Drizzle cake with Vanilla Glaze.
Vanilla Glaze: Mix powdered sugar and water until desired consistency.
