This simple side dishes pulls double duty as a dessert and has always been a part of my families Christmas dinner. It truly is simple and almost fool-proof, but it's still delicious and warms our hearts when we spoon it on our plates at Christmas dinner.

  • 3 oz. (1lb 14oz) Delmonte fruit cocktail
  • 2 15 oz. Delmonte sliced peaches (you will cut them into bite size)
  • 2 20oz. canned pineapple
  • 2 11 oz. canned mandarin oranges
  • 1 small (bag) marshmallows
  • 1 lb. container sour cream

Drain all fruit with a sieve (someone make like the juices, put in a pitcher).
After draining, alternate fruit – marshmallows and sour cream in a pretty good size container.
Mix well, cover, and refrigerate.
