  • 1 lb. finely chopped carrots
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. dried thyme leaves
  • ¼ tsp. fresh ground
  • 1 T. minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic finely diced
  • 2 med. Celery stalks chopped fine
  • 1 32oz. package chicken broth
  • 2 C. egg noodles

Put all the ingredients into the crockpot in order according to the ingredient list above in order. Cover and let cook on low for 8-9 hours. Stir occasionally. Stir in noodles and turn cooking temperate to high. Cook for 20 minutes or until noodles are tender. Stir occasionally. Serve hot with your favorite crackers if desired.
