Granola
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 Tbs. almonds, chopped
- 1 Tbs. walnuts, chopped
- 1 Tbs. pecans, chopped
- 1 Tbs. pine nuts
- 1 Tbs. shelled sunflower seeds
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 tsp. honey
- 2 tsp. pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp. frozen unsweetened orange juice concentrate
- 2 tsp. corn oil
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven 300 degrees. Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
Combine the honey, maple syrup, orange juice concentrate, and corn oil in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour the hot liquid over the dry ingredients and mix well. Spread the mixture out in a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature. Store in airtight container.
