This granola is the perfect base for any breakfast or trail-mix. Add in nuts, fruits, or whatever your heart desires to make this recipe your own!

  • 4 Cups of Rolled Oats
  • 3 ½ Tablespoons of Brown Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • ¼ Teaspoon of Salt
  • ½ Cup of Honey
  • ¼ Cup of Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • Any Additional Nuts, Fruits, Etc. You Like!

While your oven is preheating to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, stir together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl and leave it be for now. Then, mix together the honey, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until it’s evenly combined. Pour this honey mixture into the oat mixture and mix until everything is evenly distributed. It might be easiest to do this step with your hands, so make sure you’re wearing gloves!

Spread your granola mix evenly on a baking sheet and place it in the middle of your oven for 15 minutes. Then, remove the sheet, mix everything around, and return it to the oven for another 5-10 minutes. Everything should be a nice golden-brown when you’re finished baking!

Stir it occasionally as it cools and then add in whatever extras you like!
