This is my submission for the Ghoulishly Good Halloween Recipe Contest. What says Halloween more than apples and cinnamon? This a hot cobbler that is the "graveyard" and steam rises from it. The "tombstones" are scoops of vanilla ice cream. It is quite eerie when the steam is rising around them. It's also delicious!!!

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook apples, sugar, juice, and spices in a medium saucepan over medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring constantly, until apples are soft. Stir in cream cheese and stir until cream cheese is melted. This will take 2 to 3 minutes and the sauce will look like caramel when it is completely melted and mixed. Combine butter and crumbs in a bowl. Grease a 9 inch by 9 inch baking pan. Pour apple mix into pan. Top with crumb mixture. Bake for 25 minutes.
