Anything covered in gravy is tasty. This slow cooked salisbury steak will really knock you off your feet. Enjoy with mashed potatoes and your favorite veggie!

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • ½ packet dry onion soup mix
  • ½ onion, diced
  • ½ cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 packet dry au jus mix
  • ¾ cup water

In a large bowl, mix together the beef, onion mix, breadcrumbs, milk and onion. Shape into 10 patties. Heat the oil on a large skillet. Dip the patties in the flour to coat and cook on the skillet for about 1 minute, or until browned. Place the patties in the crockpot, stacking in a pyramid. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, au jus mix and water. Pour over the meat and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the beef is cooked through.
