Great Apple Banana Smoothie

With banana, apples, yogurt and spices, this is a great, healthy smoothie without sugar. And it's so sweet and yummy anyway!

  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. apple pie spice
  • 1 C. plain yogurt
  • 1 C. plain soy milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbs. almond extract
  • 1-2 packets Splenda
  • 1 C. ice to thicken and keep cool

Add yogurt, soy milk and fruit to the blender. Start first on chop until smooth, then grate, then blend. Turn off and add dry spices and sweetener and blend for a few seconds to combine. Add vanillla and almond extracts. Keep blending for 30 seconds. Add ice, a few ice cubes at a time and chop until smooth, then grate and blend for a minute longer. Pour into glasses and enjoy a healthy and sweet sip of goodness!

Tip: You can also add a Tbs. of flaxseed meal to it for more fiber; it has no taste and is very good for you. Just blend it in with the dry ingredients.
