After searching for good chicken wings for many months, I decided to try to make my own. I think mine are as good as any sports bar or restaurant.

Ingredients

  • 10 lb. chicken wings or drumettes
  • 1/8 C. BBQ rub, sweet and tangy
  • 1 16 oz. container Sweet Baby Ray's buffalo wing sauce

Directions

Boil chicken in water for 30-40 minutes or until cooked. Remove from water, run chicken under cold water and pat dry. Cover chicken with rub evenly. Use more rub if you choose. Allow chicken to rest with rub for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cover chicken with buffalo sauce evenly, about 2/3 of container. Allow to rest for another 30 minutes or untill chicken has pink/red color of sauce. Place chicken on hot charcoal grill until golden brown.

  • totally agree with you bearhost. These sound more like grilled bbq'd wings and definetly not Buffalo Wings

  • Obviously, you have never had any real Buffalo wings. They are not boiled, rubbed or grilled so please don't call the Buffalo wings!
