Greek Style Skillet Rib Eye

Here is great idea to use some different flavors for the rib eye. Try seasoning it with some Greek spices and crumbled feta cheese.

Ingredients

  • 2 rib eye steaks cut 1 inch thick - approximately 1 lb.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tbsp. chopped Kalamata olives seasoning
  • 1-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Directions

Combine seasonings and press on both sides of beef. In nonstick skillet heat oil over medium heat until hot. Cook steaks in skillet, turning once. 10 - 15 minutes for medium rare. Sprinkle with lemon juice. To serve, sprinkle with feta and olives.

Yields: 2 - 4 servings.
