  • 1 1/2 lbs. cubed beef stew meat
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 3 C. meatless Italian gravy
  • 6 C. shelled fresh peas

Sprinkle meat with salt. In a wide heavy saucepan, brown meat in oil. Add gravy and peas. Cover and simmer gently for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until meat is tender. Stir occasionally.
