  • 1 lb. green beans, trimmed
  • 1 lb. yellow beans, trimmed
  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add beans and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Drain beans well. Heat oil on a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in shredded carrots and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Add cooked beans to carrots mixture. Mix well and serve.
