  • 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked Spanish paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 pounds extra-large (26-30 count) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon minced flat-leaf parsley

Place shrimp on grill for 2 minutes. Take out 5-to-6-quart slow cooker and add oil, garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir until blended and then cover. Cook on high for 30 minutes. Thoroughly stir in the grilled shrimp to coat, cover and cook on high for 10 minutes. Stir again, cover and cook for 10 more minutes. Place shrimp and sauce on a wide and shallow dish and serve with parsley.
