Grilled Endive
Ingredients
- 4 heads Belgian endive
- extra virgin olive oil
- coarse salt & freshly ground black pepper
- shaved Parmesan cheese or balsamic vinegar (optional)
Directions
Prepare a medium hot fire in the grill. Slice the endive in half lengthwise; do not trim the root end. Brush with olive oil. Grill the endive until tender and lightly grill marked, 4 to 7 minutes per side. To serve, sprinkle with salt & pepper to taste. If desired, top with a sprinkling of shaved parmesan or balsamic vinegar.
