Grilled New Yorker
Ingredients
- 1 Tbs. reduced-calorie mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 4 slices rye bread; (1-oz.)
- 2 slices flavored-flavored nonfat; (3/4-oz.) process cheese product
- 4 oz. lean lower-salt smoked ham; thinly sliced
- 1 C. thinly sliced green cabbage
- vegetable cooking spray
Directions
Combine mayonnaise and mustard in a bowl; stir well. Spread mayonnaise mixture over each of 2 bread slices; top each with 1 cheese slice, 1 oz. ham, 1/2 C. cabbage, and 1 oz. ham. Top with remaining bread slices. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot. Add sandwiches; cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
Yield: 2 servings.
