Grilled Smelts

Ingredients
- 12 smelts, cleaned
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- salt
- pepper
- 2 lemons, cut in wedges
Directions
Preheat barbecue grill. Pat smelts dry and brush with oil. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Grill until browned, about 3 minutes. Turn the fish over and cook and brown on the other side, 2-3 more minutes. Transfer smelts to a platter and garnish with wedges. Serve.
