This is my rendition of a smoky grilling sauce -- it is sweet, tangy and great on all kinds of meat!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. grape jam
  • 1/4 C. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 dash liquid smoke
  • 1/3 C. sugar
  • 1/8 C. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 pat butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbs. cornstarch (optional)

Directions

Put all ingredients in a saucepan and heat until they come to a boil.
