Warm tostada shells according to package directions and keep warm.  In a medium skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is brown and onion is tender.  Drain of excess fat.  Stir in tomatoes and green chilies and taco seasoning mix.  Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Heat remaining beans.  To assemble, place warm shells on a serving plate and spread each with refried beans.  Spoon about 1/4 cup meat mixture over beans on each tostada shell.  Top with tomato, lettuce, and shredded cheese.  Pass taco sauce.
