This sweet and spicy coffee sauce is definitely something different to bring to the table. Sautéed with delicious flavors and best served over rice.

  • 1 lb minced pork
  • 2 cloves garlic; minced
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • ½ C sugar
  • 2 Tsb espresso powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili flakes
  • Water
  • Flour
  • Oil

Mix the espresso powder with the water to form a thick coffee liquid.

Heat a saucepan over medium heat and sauté the garlic and ginger until the aromas rise. Then throw in the ground pork, salt and pepper and stir until pork is cooked.

Then add in the liquid coffee and sugar and stir until it caramelizes. Add in some flour to thicken the sauce, continue to stir until ingredients are well combined.

Finally sprinkle in some chili flakes, mix and serve hot over some rice.
