Here's a chocolate cake that you can make when you're craving something sweet, but you don't want to have so much fat in your diet. This extremely low-fat chocolate cake still tastes great!

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 C. flour
  • 1 1/4 C. Splenda
  • 2/3 C. cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 C. applesauce
  • 1 1/2 C. Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbs. vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Beat sugar with eggs. Add vanilla. Mix well. Combine yogurt and applesauce. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients. Use electric mixture to beat until well combined. Pour batter on greased 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Place cake on wire rack to cool.
