Ham and Cheese Hash browns
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 C chopped onions
- 1 package frozen shredded hash browns; thawed
- Olive Oil
- Ham slices
- Slices of Swiss cheese
- Eggs (Optional for serving)
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat it with some olive oil. Add in the onions and hash browns. Toss the ingredients around until onions become clear and hash begins to brown. Sprinkle in a little salt and pepper to taste.
Once the hash has browned, remove from heat and top in off with a few ham slices and a couple slices of Swiss cheese (add more if desired).
Place the skillet in the oven and let it bake for 5-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
Meanwhile, in a separate pan, fry an egg.
After the cheese has melted, top it off with the fried egg and serve hot.
