Ham and Cheese Spaghetti

This dish is like a croque monsieur in a bowl! This is a perfect dish if you have leftover ham and you want something more than a sandwich. This pasta is extra cheesy, with delightful chunks of ham, and herbs de provence to really make it flavorful.

Prepare pasta according to package instructions. Melt the butter in a deep skillet over medium heat and sprinkle in the flour. Mix until your roux is light brown and smells nutty. Slowly mix in the half and half. Keep stirring until it thickens and then add in all of the cheese, the oregano, and the herbs. Turn the heat to low and add in the ham. Cook for about 2 minutes, and then pour in the pasta. Serve immediately.
