  • 1 lb. pasta of choice
  • 3 T. butter
  • 1 small white onion, diced
  • 1/2 C. frozen peas
  • 2 T. water
  • 4 oz. cooked ham, shredded
  • 3/4 C. heavy cream
  • 1/2 C. grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook pasta according to box directions. In a large saucepan, sauté the onions in butter until translucent. Stir in water and peas. Cook for three minutes and add in ham. Pour in cream and simmer for five minutes. Add remaining butter into cream mixture and stir until melted. Add in 1/4-cup of cheese. Drain pasta and combine with cream sauce. Place pasta in a glass baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Bake for five minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
