Ham, Mushroom and Cheddar Quiche

  • 1 Pillsbury Ready Pie Crust
  • 1 C. cubed ham
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 C. fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 C. Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 C. sour cream
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 C. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic
  • 1 Tbs. Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 tsp. dried basil

Spray pie pan with non-stick spray. Place pie crust in pan and crimp edges. Layer ingredients in blender and blend on high. Pour all into shell. Bake on lowest rack in oven at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 25 minutes more.

Note: If you don't want to put it in the blender, dice the ham fine. Mix everything together without blending. That way you have larger bits of ham and mushrooms in quiche.

Yield: 6-8 servingsĀ

  • This recipe is great tasting! But ... it should ask for TWO pie crusts. There is far too much for one .. or cut the recipe in half.
