Brown hamburger and onion and garlic. Drain any fat. Add back to pan, add remaining ingredients. Put lid on pan over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Will thicken as cooks.

  • gluiderg, you're cracking me up! I believe the recipe means to add 1 AND 1/2 cups of water. And as far as draining the hamburger and adding it back to the pan, it means add the HAMBURGER back to the pan, not the grease! Thanks for the laugh, I needed it! Good luck to you!

  • Thereare two things I want to know is: does the 1 1/2 c. water mean 1 and 1/2 cups water, or one half of a cup of water? And, why does this tell you to drain any fat off , then ad the fat back into the pan?

  • Sounds really good!! I'm gonna try this one out. The only thing I'm gonna do different is use beef broth instead of water. My little girl will love this. Thank you!!
