Cook meat and onion over medium heat 8-10 minutes until it is brown, then drain and stir in remaining ingredients.  Put in Crockpot and cook on low 6-8 hours. You can also spoon into ungreased 22 qt. casserole dishes. Cover, then bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

  • This recipe is huge! I cut it in half and substituted cans of soup with med size can Italian tomatoes and small can tomato soup.

It was delicious... but we'll be eating it for at least three more days.. Even at a half size, it was a huge amount of food. I give it 5 stars

  • I made this last Saturday and I loved it. I did add a little of my own touch though. I put the onions in the crockpot raw. I didn't have ground turkey, so I used 1 lb. ground beef and 1 lb. ground chicken. I also added one small can of tomato sauce and 1 14 oz. can of diced tomatoes. Used 1/2 tsp. salt instead of whole teaspoon. I probably used about 2/3 of the cabbage recommended. It turned out really well and I will definitely be making it again, but I will share it next time. I liked
