Hamburger Soup

This is a recipe YOU can adapt to you and your family likes and dislikes. I will give you basics and you can add whatever is in season or whatever you fancy.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 qt. beef stock
  • 1 C. sliced carrots
  • 1/2 sm. head cabbage
  • 1 C. sliced scallions
  • 1 C. corn
  • Optional:
  • potatoes
  • celery
  • squash

Directions

In a large pot, cook hamburger over low to medium heat; DO NOT BROWN. Add beef stock, then add vegetables. Cook until vegetables are done.
