Hamburgers with Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients
- 8-oz. can shredded sauerkraut, drained
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chili sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
- 6 hamburger rolls
Directions
In a saucepan combine sauerkraut, cranberry sauce, chili sauce, 1/4 cup water and brown sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a bowl combine egg, onion soup, and 1/4 cup water and let stand 5 minutes. Add ground beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties. Grill to desired degree of doneness and place hamburger patties on rolls. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
