With this recipe, you’ll enhance both the sweet and nutty flavors of almond milk, nutmeg, cinnamon, and honey. Don’t let your porridge get cold and try this comforting, warm harvest porridge.

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 cup of water
  • ½ cup of almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons of almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut butter
  • 2 teaspoons of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of ginger
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • A dash of allspice
  • A dash of ground cloves
  • A small dash of cardamom
  • Toppings:
  • 1 Gala apple
  • 1/3 cup of diced sugar pumpkin
  • 1/3 cup of pumpkin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

In a medium saucepan, combine the water, almond milk, and oats and boil for 5 minutes in medium heat or until the mixture has a thick consistency.
Incorporate the coconut milk, almond butter, and dry ingredients into the porridge. Stir until the spices are dissolved completely. If the mixture appears dry, add more almond milk. Add the honey to grasp the sweet taste.
Cut 1 gala apple in slices and dice 1/3 cup of sugar pumpkin.
In a small saucepan, add in teaspoon of coconut oil and cook the apple slices and diced sugar pumpkin until they are soft. Do not over stir the fruits or they will not hold their shape.
Add the maple syrup and cinnamon to the fruits and cook for 1 minute to lock in the sweet flavor.
In a small bowl, pour the porridge and the toppings.
