  • 2 rib eye steaks
  • 1 C. reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 6 oz. fresh pineapple juice
  • 1/3 C. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. fresh ginger, minced

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar, pineapple juice and apple cider vinegar. Bring mixture to a boil. Decrease heat to low. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove sauce from heat.

Pour sauce into a shallow dish along with steaks. Turn steaks to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Warm grill over high heat and lightly oil grate. Add steaks to grill and cook for 5 minutes on each side or to desired temperature.
