  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 T. butter
  • 4-6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • 2 lb. cod fillets, chopped
  • 2 lb. shrimp
  • 2 C. heavy cream

In a large pot, bring 3 cups of water to a boil and add in potatoes. Boil for 10 minutes until tender. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté celery and garlic until tender. Season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Pour in potatoes and water, add bacon, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes. Add in cod, shrimp, and cream. Simmer for another 20 minutes until everything is cooked through.
