Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork stew meat
  • 3 Tbs. flour
  • 1 C. onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 C. water
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 C. dry sherry
  • 1 1/2 lb. potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 1/2 C. carrots, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 C. flour

Directions

Dredge 3 Tbs. flour in pork and brown in large frying pan. Place pork and remaining ingredients (except flour) in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. Add 1/4 C. flour and mix well. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour.
