Herb Cream Cheese Crostini with Ham and Olives
Serving Size / Yield
- 16 slices of French baguette
- 1/2 lb. prosciutto
- 1 Jar your choice of olives
- Herb Cream Cheese:
- 8 oz. of cream cheese
- 2 Tbs. dill weed
- 1 Tbs. chives
Mix together the herb cream cheese ingredients until a smooth consistency develops. Set this mixture aside in the refrigerator until the crostinis are done baking.
On a cookie sheet arrange the baguette slices and brush them with olive oil. Broil for approximately two minutes per side, or until they've browned.
Spread the cheese mixture over the toasted bread.
Add one slice of prosciutto to each crostini.
Top with an olive of your choice and spear with a toothpick so that it all stays together.
