Herb Vegetable Dip Mix

While this recipe creates a herb mix that works well with many different recipes, simple add sour cream, lemon juice and mayonnaise for the perfect dip.

  • 1/4 C. dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 C. dried thyme leaves
  • 2 Tbs. dried tarragon leaves
  • 2 Tbs. dried onion flakes
  • 3 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper

Combine all and mix well. Store in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Stir or shake before using. Use as a seasoning in recipes. Herb Mix Dip: use 1 Tbs. of the mix with 3/4 C. sour cream, 1/4 C. mayonnaise, and 1 tsp. lemon juice. Blend well. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Serve with assorted fresh vegetables.

Yield 1 C. dip.
