Holiday Cheese Ball

Very easy to make. I mix it a day ahead and shape it the next day. This cheese ball is requested every holiday and gathering.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. cream cheese (you can use the low fat variety)
  • 1 sm. can drained crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 C. chopped green pepper
  • 2 C. crushed pecans or walnuts (reserve 1 cup)
  • 2 tsp. onion, minced
  • cherries (optional - for topping)

Directions

Mix all ingredients well, reserving one cup of the chopped nuts. Cover and refigerate until you can form a ball (1 hour or longer). With your hands, shape into a ball, log, bell or whatever you desire. Roll in the remaining nuts. Top with a cherry if desired.

Enjoy with yor choice of crackers.
