Around the holiday season, it's difficult to find time to come up with desserts to serve to family, but the crockpot makes it easy to be creative in the kitchen! This fruit crisp uses apples, pears, and raisins to create a dessert even the pickiest family member will enjoy!

  • 1 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • 4 large granny smith apples, chunked
  • 2 large bosc pears, chunked
  • 1/3 C. raisins
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • Topping:
  • 1 C. rolled oats
  • 1 C. brown sugar, loosely packed
  • 1/4 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3-4 Tbs. butter, softened and cubed

Mix 1 C. brown sugar and 1/2 C. sugar in the bottom of a crockpot, spreading it into an even layer. Top with the chopped apples and pears. Sprinkle the salt and cinnamon over the top. Add the raisins.

Mix all the topping ingredients in a bowl. Mix it until the topping forms a rough texture like sand. Spread the topping over the fruit in the crockpot.

Cover and cook on high for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Turn off the heat and allow the crisp to sit for an additional hour. Scoop it out and serve warm.
