  • 6 cups of milk
  • 6 eggs
  • ¾ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 ½ cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup of ham, diced
  • 3 tablespoon of vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 cups of bread (torn in little pieces)

Preheat the oven at 350F.
Using a small saucepan, heat up the milk in medium high heat. Be sure to constantly stir the milk. When the bubbles begin to form, turn off the heat and set it aside to cool for about 10 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the salt sugar. Then, add the hot milk, bread, vanilla and cinnamon and give it a good stir. Incorporate the diced tomatoes and ham and fold into the mixture.
Place the mixture into a 9x13 pan and bake for 1 hour. After you take out bread pudding, spread the melted butter all over the surface. Let it cool for 5 minutes.
