A great crockpot recipe to enjoy this fall and winter season, that's just as great as your favorite Asian restaurant. And once you have all of the ingredients in the crockpot, you're free to run your errands, play with the kids, or even just watch television.

  • 1 lb. boneless, beef chuck roast, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 C. broccoli florets
  • 1 C. beef broth
  • 1/2 C. soy sauce
  • 1/3 C. dark brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 onion, julienned
  • 2 Tbs. cornstarch

In your crockpot, mix the beef broth, soy sauce, dark brown sugar, and garlic.
Then, add in the beef strips and toss to coat. Cook on low for 6 hours, or on medium for 4. Mix in the cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Toss in the broccoli florets. Cook on low for an additional 30 minutes.
